Not fully functional, Scanner and B/W letters ok, color and envelopes not working as they should. Gave it away.
I was pleasantly surprised when the printer came with ink installed, but when it came on it didn't print anything. Then it began and kept asking me to replace this and that color ink. I did that with the ink I had just purchased from Brother since I didn't expect it have any. After replacing them all, and running multiple test pages and cleanings, I was finally able to to get a black and white printout. I needed this printer to print out some envelopes. It printed, but they were skewed. I had hoped since this was the same model I'd been using without too many problems for years before it died, this would keep things simple. I ran out of time and and ordered a newer model which after an hour or two of updates, installations, etc. is doing what I need. I gave the unit to some else who has time and patience for this sort of thing. Who knows, he may get it fully operational.
