3 of 3 found this helpful These are good quality strings at a great price. If you play a lot like I do, why hassle with buying a pack of strings just when you need them. It this price you can have plenty of sets on hand and ready when you are. Nothing sucks more than needing or breaking strings and having to drive to the store to get them. General Purpose Radios
Radios seem to work OK appear to be constructed well. NOAA channel works fine. No way near 23 miles on the range. Not sure where they test these radios to get that kind of distance but most I can get is about 1 mile on the open road. Used them with a friend on the interstate and the signal started getting scratchy around a mile distance. I live in a flat area with a lot of woods so may be part of the problem.
Stock batteries don't last long with continued use, but if access to a usb port, the usb cable is a big plus to bump up the charge. Replaced stock batteries with panasonic eneloop and can talk all day long with very little drain on the batteries. When in range, signal is clear and speaker is good. If most your use would be within 1 mile, I recommend these radios but only giving 3 stars because the 23 mile claim is misleading. Most people are not going to be standing on the top of mountain peaks when using these radios.
