VII Olympiad: Paris 1924 St. Moritz 1928
This book, VII Olympiad: Paris 1924 St. Moritz 1928, is part of the Olympic Century series. This book is full of exceptional and rare photographs. Its text is informative without being dry. There are many stories of individual competitors, such as Johnny Weissmuller and Sonja Henie. The politics of the Olympics is also discussed in a balanced way. The statistics of the games are listed in the appendix. In all, this book is a definitive look at these two Olympiads, while providing an interesting read for everyone interested in this topic.

Scenic Cape Town book
Having just returned from my first trip to South Africa, this book of wonderful photographs brought back many fond memories. The photos are stunning, made by a gifted artist. They make the amateur appreciate how terrific the settings are in South Africa. The captions are minimal but informative. If you want a guide book, this is not the book to buy. But if you want to appreciate the flora, fauna, and panorama of Cape Town, you will love this book. Here are all the photographs you wish you had taken!

Ethel Merman in Call Me Madam/Panama Hattie
Don't expect stereophonic sound on this CD because of the original recordings' ages. But do expect the voice and showmanship of Ethel Merman to come shining through! If you are a fan of old Broadway shows or tunes, this CD is sure to please.
