Used 14.4v battery
It definitely charges and works as advertised, however, it doesn’t work very long because it is used. But that’s okay because I bought it to have an extra shell and hopefully some good cells so I can eventually rebuild it.

Check your prongs.
Wouldn’t work for my drill, but it’s very old and has the 2-prong configuration. These for sale are 3 prong and the slide in portion is too tall and won’t fit anyway. Other than that they seemed to be good quality. I took one apart hoping to swap the internals into my shell but they are the taller C size, not sub-C. That would also be a concern for me as they might have too high milli-amperage for my old drill. I recommend trying them, the return policy was fast and the price was nice!

Pretty nice for a piece of $#¡+!
This thing has been destroyed and rebuilt countless times allegedly. The chrome is all corroded and the paint is chipped and marred but someone took the time to put a nice clear coat to preserve its integrity. I’m surprised at the condition of the case, it’s immaculate, with I guess a freshly recovered and padded handle. Just playing it it seems buzzy although the action is smooth, but I’ve yet to plug it into an amplifier. Anyway, I love it!
