Excellent value, 30mins to fit, problem solved.
Excellent value, better than trying to repair the old unit. Easy access to replace on car in about 30mins. Came with new bolts, resistor block, everything required. No more warning lights or 4WD faults. Way way cheaper than same part from BMW and no need to pay dealer labour.
Several videos on YouTube of how to fit new part, easy DIY job. Highly recommend. UPDATE: 3000 miles later still 100% perfect :)

New item cheap and perfect, better than slightly cheaper used or recon, they come with risk, this doesn't.
New item, not reconditioned, powerful and quiet compared to the old worn out one. Great value even compared to used units that really aren't worth the risk of buying.

Simplifies xBox as a DVD player function, the only controller you need for this.
Transform Xbox usability for DVD functions very well indeed, much simpler with remote. Nice xBox illumination glow to the buttons too!
You don't need any other controllers to use your xbox as a DVD and media player.
