Based on Tom Cruise’s characters faint recollection of someone to comfort him as a child
My older son is a 28-year-old high functioning autistic and while no two autistics are exactly alike I do believe this is a very good depiction of one type of autistic. The struggle portrayed from Tom Cruise to try to first tolerate then understand and then embrace his brother I believe runs the full gamut of emotions. I was impressed to learn that both Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise spent a lot of time around autistics in preparation of their roles

Based on the vast majority of scripture not just the few popular cherry picked verses
Most of Christianity makes a stand at about a half dozen verses and either is unaware of or chooses to completely ignore 95% of what the Bible says on this topic. I was christened Catholic but growing up was Presbyterian, Pentecostal, independent Bible believing, and attended Baptist, Lutheran, Seventh day Baptist etc. This book covers the topic from all possible angles and rather than discard the few popular proof texts most use it looks at them through the lens of the other 95% of scripture as well as church fathers and history, Original Bible language etc. yet is easy to read and understand. Pray about this and sit down with your Bible and if possible concordance

Expected Bible commentary exclusively written by Wycliffe
3 of 3 found this helpful I was a bit disappointed when I opened it up and checked certain passages and then looked at the introduction to find out the commentary was not the work of Wycliffe per se but was by more modern commentators Who from what I know of church history don’t share all the same views on historical Christianity or views of prophecy. I would like to find out if original works of the protestant reformers including Luther are available still
