problem solved
This tool performs the function that I hoped for. I used it to tighten woven wire fence That had become stretched from horses rubbing against it. It was a bad choice of fence material but now it will be useful again thanks to the Wire tight fence tightening tool.

a great product
I was thrilled to learn that steel zip ties exist. I don't know what they were originally developed for so this may sound silly. I am building a horse pen of woven wire mesh attached to steel posts. Plastic zips have been useful but of course, not durable. This is the best product I have found for my project. They work smoothly and hold tight. Stainless steel so won't rust.
