Good enough!
Here's an important note: I am a complete amateur when it comes to clocks and watches. My impression is that a professional watchmaker might not find this equipment to be sufficient for his/her use. 🤷🏻♂️

the right device
This gadget is exactly what I needed, and couldn't find at our local computer store, which us actually very well-stocked.

we stick to this
Reliable, inexpensive tape... Use it all the time... Easy to write on w/felt-tip etc. It's paper tape, though, so it does tear...
