Fits well to honda XR650R
I bought it for my honda XR650R, as it has no any stock fan. This fan is slim enough to fit on the right radiator. Still have to make deflector by yourself, but thats easy to do. SPAL fan found to be very robust - I'm using it in a real dirt and it is still alive. Performance is more than enough too cool the engine. Tried several fans before - they are too big, or low performance, or dies after first contact with water - none of these issues are there with SPAL.

Must have insruments for hi-end engine
Compared to original instruments of XR650R this one really have a lot. Tachometer is useful for adjusting idle RPM, coolant temperature sensor is just critical thing. And this one also have second temperature channel. By default it reads from built-in sensor, which sense ambient temperature, but one may solder sensor for oil temp. So after installation you just have all-in-one. Not that useful for air-cooled engines, but for hi-end liquid cooled its just must have.
What I dislike about this - is its body. It is a well-built plastic, which however will not survive even moderate hit or sinking in dirt. Need additional protection.
