You get what you pay for
My personal inflatable PFD is a Mustang brand. I wanted to get my wife an inflatable PFD and while watching fishing shows on TV, I saw all the guides and Pro's wearing the a sponsor's Onyx brand. Comparing the Mustang and Onyx PFD's, the Mustang is better quality. Also I noticed that Mustang suggests rearming in 5 years and Onyx in 3 years.
