Best is cheaper in the long run
For those that may not have used a variety of different rods over the years they may not know quality when they see it. I have used everything from cheap to expensive and short like you get at Lowes and Home Depot (which are good quality mostly but shorter and a bit too stiff for drop ceilings) If you ever used a Creep-Zit you would likely realize that it is equal to the best a performs excellent in drop ceilings as well as other locations. You could save a lot of money and frustration to just buy the best on the front end.... but to each his own if you think saving money just happens when you make a purchase.
