Great deal!
1 of 1 found this helpful Great deal on a case! I am a guitar tech and use it to clear all sorts of dust and dirt from guitar parts like pots and switches. Works great and buying by the case is far more economical than buying 2 or 3 cans at a time.

Awesome Mic!!!
2 of 2 found this helpful I have been playing rock-n-roll music out in public for the past 45 yrs and still playing strong today!
I have used probably every mic known to date at one time or another and kept hearing great things about the Audix OM-5 but never had used one until I got this one for Christmas this year. Holy cow is this thing awesome! I have been using an SM57 for the past several years, kept going back to this or my EV mics, which I really like, but this mic is soooo much clearer than anything I have used to date. It is so clear it is scary how much better it sounds live. No feedback at all on stage no matter what. We have 3 singers in the 4 piece rock band I play in and have played 4 times since the beginning of the New Year, 2016 and our bass player uses a Beta SM58, the other guitar player uses an OM-2 and both of them are now going to get one of these. It blows there's face down in the dirt. It takes a lot more juice on the mixer to get the same volume, so don't be surprised if you have to crank the slide up to achieve the same volume as your previous mic. For "rock style shows" I'd recommend the OM5 simply because those types of shows are as much "combat audio" as anything else. The additional isolation and consistent sound of the OM5 trumps "a better sounding mic" that doesn't isolate as well and is inconsistent if you're on and off the mic, which is characteristic of the Beta 58 or SM 58. Best gain before feedback as well. This mic has so much more warmth and detail than any other mic I have used and the bottom end is super clear where as the other mics seem to get muddy and muffled. You have to get right up on this mic though as it isolates very well. If you back off a couple inches you won't be in the mix. We sing lots of harmonies and I noticed I was not being heard if I backed off too far. Great mic and I have no use for the other dozen or so mics I have. Craigslist bound for them now. May keep 1 EV as a backup.
