Outstanding Knife
The fit and finish of the Kershaw Scallion is outstanding. The Speedsafe assisted opening feature is handy when opening the blade using only one hand. The handle scales are textured nylon that helps me keep a good grip on them. This knife is a liner lock to keep the blade from folding when you are using it. It also has a lock on the end by the blade tip to prevent it from opening when you are carrying it. I haven't used that feature but probably should. The Scallion has a pocket clip that can be removed by backing out two screws. The blade is super sharp and is partially serrated for cutting things like rope or fishing line. The Scallion also has a lanyard hole should you wish to tether it to something. All in all, I'm impressed by this knife and carry it with me all the time. I think it will last a long time.

Does The Job Without Costing A Bundle
The Gardner Bender CR-100 4-Inch Romex Cable Ripper is a cost effective way to open up Romex cable. Yes it may take a few tries to get the hang of using it but it sure beats using scissors, side cutting pliers or box cutters, which I have used when I couldn't find my old pair of this cable ripper.

Bob the Builder - Tool Power DVD
I bought the Bob the Builder - Tool Power DVD for my grandchildren to replace the one that was misplaced. My grandchildren (ages 1, 3, & 4) all love it. It is a fun collection of episodes from the television show that also teach children valuable lessons. I would recommend to any parent or grandparent with young children.
