"The Cool Jazz Trumpeter Sings"
The cool jazz trumpeter could also carry a tune with a fragile voice that makes for cool, quiet listening. This album was first issued in 1958 and was his second vocal effort. It features twenty-two songs, some added from other recording sessions. Most are from the great American songbook of classics such as "It Could Happen to You", "My Heart Stood Still," "Dancing on the Ceiling," and "How Long Has This been Going On." They are interspersed with Baker's trumpet solos as well. It also features "Let's Get Lost" from a James Dean documentary. Baker was a very talented but tragic figure, battling a lifelong addition to drugs. But he left behind a fine catalog of recordings for us to appreciate.

Smooth dumping operation
The Lionel Santa Fe coal dump car I purchased was in mint condition and operates quite smoothly in association with my Lionel No 397 operating Coal Loader, 1950s vintage. It came with a bag of coal and a dump container; however, the Lionel loader makes for a more realistic operation. The car looks great in red an black. The hopper on the car needs to be placed back in position by hand, and care should be taken to do it carefully, as the spring-loaded hinges are plastic and can break if a piece of coal is lodged in any key area. Otherwise, this car should hold up well over years of usage.

a nice, clean professional look
I found that the baggage door and frame worked perfectly in an icing station that I was making out of basswood for my O scale railroad layout. In fact, I used two of these doors, one on the first and one on second level of the structure. The door frame has an inside flange, so that once I cut the hole to the dimensions of the inset, the frame slipped in perfectly. Then the door fitted nicely into the frame, so that there weren't any daylight cracks around the doors. Altogether, the doors gave my icing station a nice, clean, professional look. Thanks.
