Two Very Different Albums On One CD
D. Y. S. were a straight-edge punk/hardcore band from the Boston-area early 1980's scene. This disc features two records. The first one, 'Fire & Ice', is more leaning towards a metal-ish direction with cleaner production. The second album, 'Wolfpack', is just raw punk rock. Both are very good, in my opinion. They are a stark contrast to each other, but I think that it's also one of the reasons why I like this CD so much. And you don't have to be straight edge to enjoy this. It rocks.

The Freeze. Two mid-1990s Album on One Disc
This band has been part of the Boston-area punk scene since the early '80s. Really cool, energetic, fun songs here. The Freak Show album is a little bit better than Crawling Blind, I feel, but overall they're both great records. You cant go wrong with The Freeze, plus Cliff has got a great voice and writes interesting story-telling type lyrics that range from serious to humorous.

Early Material That Will Not Disappoint
This cd is a compilation of the band's early material. A live set, a demo, etc. Its very good. And the production is not too bad either, considering the sources. If you're a fan of punk rock, you probably have already heard of Poison Idea. This is a cd worth buying and has 29 tracks. They also do a cover of 'Motorhead' which is very cool, very raw!
