Excellent launch monitor and great value for money
I'd been wanting a launch monitor for some time, however the price of the Swing Caddie sc200 was more than I was prepared to pay.
I read some reviews of the Yupiter Atlas and decided to buy it. I only have good things to say about this device, however I have some advice for would be buyers.
The instruction manual and screen legends are all in Japanese, however its easy to translate using Google lens and translate. Furthermore once you have the device on your hand, its really simple and intuitive to use. The measured club head speed and ball speed seem to be accurate ( compared to Skytrack). Its a little illogical to me that the speeds are shown in metres per second , however the estimated distance is in yards ie a mixture of metric and imperial however its very simple to convert the speeds to mph and or the distance to metres. I actually believe there MAY be a key combination which changes this setting but havent found it yet.
I am using it currently in my garage with a net, however plan to take it to the range. The version of the device I have has a built in Li ion battery which is charged with a phone charger. So far I have seen that a full charge lasts around a week counting with a daily usage af around 1 hour. All in all very pleased with this purchase and would recommend. ( Delivery was also prompt, with excellent communications)
