Not going to fit Japan Jazzmaster.
Great pickgaurd! But it will not fit a Japanese Jazzmaster!

This is no toy/decoration, it is the real deal.
Upon arrival the oud was packed very well, also it comes with a soft case and a mizrap. The quality is what you would expect from a vendor in Turkey (source: friend purchased an oud in Turkey and brought it back to the states). The wood grain is lovely and the back finish is stunning. The overall sound is decent but most people would probably seek heavier tesnion strings. Regardless it is still 100% playable after you open everything up and tune the instrument. The mizrap was a bit lackluster and soft, but still usable. The soft bag is standard; if you plan to bring this oud around a lot you will want to invest in a better case/bag. While there are some inconsistencies in the wood (noticeable splits in top, concave top) the instrument functions just fine. As I mentioned earlier, you will need to tune the instrument! Do some research and ensure you are prepared. I would wholly recommend that anyone interested in playing the oud start with this instrument.

Daisy Chains damn good
1 of 1 found this helpful I got this to replace my former high mA power supply, all it did was make hiss and noise like nobody's business, this thing daisy chains my entire pedal board (7 pedals, including 2 strymon pedals) and the noise is very minimal. The noise is a high, very subtle hiss, 60 cycle hum from single coil pups is louder than the noise generated. It should be noted that the noise does become more apparent in my Vox Ac15, it gets a very high pitch squeal, it is nearly inaudible unless there is no other ambient noise in the room. But with my ZT lunchbox amp (solid state), the noise is VERY quiet. I wonder if there is any correlation...
Would not recommend daisy chaining this for a studio setup, although very subtle, the noise would be problematic if your aim is for sonic perfection.
As for live I have used it for band practices with great results, and gigging at small clubs/venues is a breeze with little to no problems.
If you need daisy chaining for quick and easy home practice, look no further.
