A very good macro lens on a Nikon 1 system camera
1 of 1 found this helpful Although not the best focal length for a macro lens (it puts the front of the lens very close to the subject) on a DX body, it works very well on a Nikon 1 system body such as the V2 via the Nikon FT1 adapter. The small size and weight of this lens are a decent match for Nikon's discontinued mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras built around the 1" sensor.

Other than the control marking on the label side you would never guess this was a former library disc
Reading the description that this was a former library disc I was worried that it would show heavy signs of use. But it looks essentially brand new on the playing side. As far as program content I have no clue other than this was a purchase for my wife who asked for it specifically for her collection after seeing the program somewhere.

Still delivers excellent images long after being discontinued by Nikon
This is the top of the line in Nikon's original mirrorless interchangeable lens system. Although Nikon discontinued the lineman years ago this camera still holds its own compared to other brands, and it is probably the best way to get an extensive and capable system ranging from ultra wide to extreme telephoto by buying the proper dedicated lenses. As with every other camera in the Nikon 1 system it has unique quirks that may bother some users, but it is a very capable camera that I use every day.
