Micronized Sulfur as Tick Repellent?
Finely-divided sulfur is known to be an acaricide, or as a tick-killer that is harmless to our pets and wildlife. We're working on this with our vet, who gets ticks from concerned pet owners, and we hope to compare the efficacy of sulfur with permethrin (an ingredient of proprietary formulations).
If it works well, then we will be dusting micronized sulfur on our dogs, and applying it to exercise trails and our back yard. This could be the safe answer that many of us have been looking for!
