Be good to your espresso machine with Cleancaf...
and your espresso machine will be good to you.
I have been using Cleancaf on a monthly basis for the past 15 or so years to clean and descale a stand-alone espresso machine. The machine is not plumbed in. It has an internal water canister which must be filled manually when low. I fill the canister with water from a gravity water filter with ceramic water filter elements because the water supplied by our rural co-op is safe to drink but tastes lousy. Cleancaf, used in combination with the filtered water, has not only made it possible for me to brew excellent cups of espresso but to also keep the pump and tank in the espresso machine from becoming clogged with sedimentary deposits too small to be filtered by my water filter.

Inexpensive ring light kit will add to your arsenal of creative photo gadgetry
Excellent value for a high power macro ring light with adapters that fit all of my lens sizes. Tried the light as shipped with my 1:1 macro lens. Seven of ten photos I submitted to a well-known stock photo site were accepted whereas no macro photos previously submitted with or without additional lighting were. Pretty good considering that I have just begun experimenting with hand-held macro photography using an actual macro lens and that this is my first ring light. Tried just using flash with the macro lens before purchasing this but that just made my photos look like snapshots rather than serious photography. IMO, this is a relatively inexpensive way to start learning how to light macro images.

Not an easy bolt-on replacement
There is nothing wrong with the design or quality of this product even if it is plastic and replaces a model formerly made of metal. The problems replacement product installers may encounter is that the four threaded inserts that fasten the Starter-Rewind to the engine housing may either turn and not be removable or may pull out if the plastic housing has become brittle with age. If they pull out, gluing them back even using industrial adhesives does not work. You either have to replace the threaded inserts with nuts and bolts or purchase a new plastic engine housing. Additionally, it is necessary to pull the existing flywheel nut and replace it with a new size flywheel nut in order to replace this mechanism. In my case, the old flywheel nut was totally impossible to remove despite having the proper size wrenches and an entire container of penetrating oil at my disposal. After 2 days of cursing and bleeding, I finally gave up, loaded my machine on my lowboy and drove to the authorized dealer. A month later and $75 poorer I got my equipment back. I have several other pieces of farm and construction equipment powered by this same company engines. This is the brand I favor but be forewarned that installing this particular replacement product could prove troublesome and cost you more money than you bargained for even if you consider yourself mechanically proficient.
