Has two temperature heat probe ports. Strong magnet and very heavy thick aluminum.
I bought this because I tow 15,000 pounds in Phx, AZ. very often.
My transmission has 230,000 miles on it.
Towed last week 210 miles at 65 MPH, the outside air temp. at 10:00 am was a cool 86 degrees and my truck engine temp. was staying at 209 and the transmission temp. was fluctuating between 186 and 192 on a mild uphill grade.
Not much change from before.
I guess I was expecting lower temp. readings, disappointed.

Can not use it.
Not designed to work on my aFe rear differential cover, unless I use the Top access sending unit plug. That is not in the oil.
The access plug that is at the oil level can not be used because the sensor has a shaft that the bolt to hold the cover on is in the way.
