A Better Controller.
I have been using Lutron fan/light controllers for years. I think the earlier models used scr or triac controllers. They caused fan buzzing. I think these newer models are relay based. No Fan Noise. Also lighting increases and decreases smoothly, nice touch. These controllers are worth owning.

Not shielded! Might introduce noise into your system.
I bought 2 sets of these cables to make up and adapter. I had to cut off the male rca ends. After doing this I noticed no shield. This is a poor way of making these cables. If you are lucky no noise. If you are using these in an application where noise might interfere look elsewhere. W tiny wires no shield.
