This CD has an excellent mixture of funny bits and funny old music. I enjoyed it very much.

The Agony of Dealing With Mental Ilness
This movie is a slow, quiet example of the agony one family goes through when the daughter has schizophrenia. Bergman takes his time showing it to you.
The family seems to be at least an hour away from the rest of civilization
on a lonesome shoreline spot. This is the second Bergman movie that I've seen this week and both of them have been so sad that you could just cry.
It's a black and white movie and very quiet throughout, which just adds to the
grimness. I can't say that I enjoyed watching this movie, in fact I was relieved when it finally ended. A couple of my friends who studied films when they were in college long ago recommended this movie to me.

A great romantic comedy
1 of 1 found this helpful I decided to buy this movie because I had seen it when it first came out so long ago. The VHS tape of it that I had bought just recently had started to have problems, so I went the DVD route. This movie features wonderfully hilarious performances by George Segal and Barbara Streisand. The other actors in it are very good also. Probably because Barbara plays a prostitute and because it has some raunchy scenes and some salty language this movie doesn't seem to ever get shown on TV, and if it did it would be heavily edited.
A very young Robert Klein is funny in his one or two scenes. There's not much to dislike about this movie, as it is concise and keeps moving along nicely.
You keep laughing and chuckling along through the entire farce.
The story revolves around two very different kinds of people who go from loathing each other to loving each other in spite of their many differences.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. They don't make movies like this anymore, unfortunately.
