Bought for a cross bow

I tried a scope and found you had no line of sight as to the bolts trajectory. The dot should alleviate that but at what range the dot becomes hard to see has not yet been determined yet. Fifty foot it is great and very easy to see so I would venture fifty yards it would still be easily seen judging by my first testing. Absolutely recommend it for cross bow use if LA me of sight of the arrow is needed versus a scope.
