Not worth the trouble.
I am disappointed with this weather station. The station itself works well, but the setup is difficult and somewhat outdated. I had difficulty with the software not accepting passwords until I realized it would only accept 6 bit passwords; no special characters. The only response I got was "wrong password." Once I got that straightened I was able to link the base to my phone, but the program said there was no internet connection; It doesn't seem to like 5G. I changed the connection to the slowest speed, but it still indicates no internet connection. I have been unable to complete the setup and at this point I'm tired of trying. I've been happy with Oregon Scientific products in the past, but this one seems outmoded. I suppose that may be why OS has discontinued this station.

Safer than steel
Works well and it's lighter and safer than steel shackles.
