Pedal straps are too small

After 2 hours assembling the pedal straps are too small to accommodate my feet(size 13). This is ridiculous in that most high school and adults have size 12+. I am attempting a search on-line to locate larger straps. Since these are small , and a limiting factor, it should have been in the specs for the exercise bike.
