Good... but maybe much bigger than you might expect
These are hard-to-find non-toxic sinkers. However, what you CAN'T tell from the picture and text description is that these are huge -- for salt water, deep water drop-shot weight and such. For most light-rig fishing, for example trout fishing in clear fresh water, these are probably not for you!

Great product - but be careful
This is DRW-24F1ST, a very versatile standard-form SATA internal replacement drive for DVD/CD R/W. On my current system with 2.5M quad core processor, everything works brilliantly. But on my usual "disk testing machine" with an XP-era class single-core AMD processor, most DVD write operations fail, particularly in DAO mode. I almost blamed the drive, but that is wrong. This drive just requires more resources than some older 2000/XP/Vista era machines can support. Stay with newer systems and you should get excellent results.

Oddly flaky with common DVD media
I purchased this as an upgrade/replacement for an older Asus DVD-RW drive that served well for many years. While the M-Disc support seems OK, this drive does not perform well for me using ordinary DVD-R media -- it takes a longer time to buffer data, and both reading and writing seem less reliable. The mechanics do not seem very good, with grinding and jerky drawer acceleration. Oddly, I get considerably better performance with the drive in an older XP-generation workstation. Why? Is it somehow happier being driven by a slower and older SATA interface?
