Vac switches are
The manufacturing is done in Costa Rico, and I have found all of them to be very very prone to failure. But at $30 I guess it is the cost of new tech. As far a quality, they are as good as any.

For small projects.
Lite duty item-there are a number of areas on the extendable handle that are weak. I found the alignment pin allows the cutting blade to turn-and the aluminum tubes come apart. In fact the saw and the last extension is still up in my tree as it came apart, and I have yet to figure out how I'm going to get it down.

Perhaps this is a good unit for very small projects, but for anything larger -3" and above I would go with a heavier unit. It did do the work I intended-then I tried to cut a 4" branch and this went sideways.
