Pelagos Trumps Omega 300 for Me
After having this on the wrist for two weeks it’s easy to see why these are widely considered the best dive watch in the $5k range. Finishing is excellent, COSC certified MT5612 is smooth and accurate. The Pelagos is what the Submariner used to be before it became a merit badge for sales guys who hit quota. Straight up tool watch. The dark tint of titanium pops while on the wrist compared to steel.
Omega 300 might have a superior movement but the skeleton hands and giant helium escape valve don’t do it for me.
Really love this piece.
