    I bought this system to use as parts, but after I took it apart and cleaned it, it works great! It is in good shape and plays games and movies perfectly. I got this cheap for what most are going for. It was exactly as described and I thank the seller and would definitely buy from them again!!!

    Very well packed, cosmetics great, used a variac to put just 25 volts in - transformer humming and heating up but both channels passed signal, so I simplified the IEC voltage selector and put a new lesser voltage transformer in - works great! Thanks AAA+++

These are highly under rated. The build quality is ES caliber.
Nice receiver. Seems to have more oomph than most i have tried in its category. Using the 5.1 analog inputs you get a true, quiet, powerful presentation that i believe sets this unit apart from any model sony made that is not part of the ES series.

I feel liquid is almost always better. Not many can compete with this brand.
