Good drive, cooling it is hard.

Great tape drive, and now it's a bit older, the tapes are reasonable cost too. Only two downsides: it needs a SAS, not SATA, connection, and it does need very good cooling. I'm currently using 3x30mm fans on the backplate, each 3cu ft/min airflow, and it might not be enough.

An OK cable, reasonable value.

Cable arrived in a bag and wrapped with cellophane-style plastic, sadly not on a reel because it tangled easily. It was undamaged. The cable was as it appears in the photos. However, it doesn't feel as well-made (a bit thin?) as the previous (orange) cable I bought with the same spec for a similar price. It has been installed and does work fine. The outer sleeve shows scrapes, etc, very easily.
