Great reading!

Fun Reading
The Bible is easy to read. I agree with the authors comments in the "Introduction". That if you are a serious student of the Bible this is not the bible of choice. There is the bias of Eugene Peterson as well as the bias of the King James Translation that are present in many places.
What would be great is if someone had the unbias scholarly mind along with Eugene Petersons gift of simplicity and the ability to capture the flavor of the verse. This would would capture the best of both worlds.
