Burt Bacharach (1997, paperback)
If you want Bacharach/David classics, and then some, you'll be really happy with this. However, I fhink it's all subjective. Pick out at least 5 songs you expect, and judge by seeing whether they have them. I still had Bacharach/David songs to pursue that are hard to find, especially if one is a Dionne W. fanatic. But I was able to find "Whoever You Are, I Love You" and
"The April Fools", 2 I always enjoyed, that are not easy to find. It surprises me how hard it is to find other Bacharach/David classics, but this does have more than basics. ALWAYS LOOK AT A MUSIC BOOKS CONTENT TO SEE IF WHAT YOU WANT WILL BE THERE. I did this so it was worthwhile.

Pro: fruit chunks Con: too much "gel".
I bought this, liked it and appreciate the tanginess of the filling. However, there is an overload of pectin/sauce as compared to fruit.
I had peviously bought jars of Amish S/R filling, and found it much too pulpy with no chunks of fruit at all, and a little too sweet. SO: I mix them ti get a more satisfying consistency. Are either of them perfect by themselves...I'd say no. But I didn't see any other choices other than making my own.
