Fits great. Looks like it came on the car.
This trailer hitch fits perfectly on my 2017 Jeep Patriot. I choose to remove the bumper to install instead of dropping the exhaust. It took about 1.5 hours with two inexperienced people. Cutting the bumper notch was terrifying but the part you cut is down under the car so it does not show in the end. The hitch rating far exceeds the Jeep's towing recommendation and the wiring is sold separately. It is a shiny powder coat finish and looks like it came on the car.
