HDTV Outdoor Amplified Antenna
19 of 29 found this helpful This antenna is not suitable for outdoor use as the plastic will break in high winds & probably deteriorate quickly from UV rays. It is best placed in an attic or somewhere where it is sheltered. The plastic bracing of antenna elements is very flimsy & one has already broken. The antenna rotor feature is very poorly designed. Each time you press the rotor button you do not know which direction it might travel. Sometimes it continues in say a clockwise direction while in other cases it alternates between clockwise & counterclockwise for just a short movement of antenna. Point is it does not operate like the old Channel Master control that was common many years ago. At least with the Channel Master, it had a moving dial on control box that mirrored the direction of antenna. With this one, you do not know unless you are looking at antenna Still, it provides better reception than rabbit ears. In my case, I do not need to move antenna to get most of the channels. If that is something you will need to do, be aware of issue with antenna control.
