No way is it 3000 lumens, but it's bright enough for walking around or for close work.

very lightweight (not necessarily good)
The controls are cantilevered out from the body which I went for because I thought it would improve visibility of the measurement, which it does. But every time you press a button to re-zero or change parameters you literally "tip the scale".
