A new dawn rises...
I was a huge fan of the first dawn of war, so I was excited to give the sequel a try. It is a very different game, moving from a focus on huge armies to a focus on small unit tactics. The campaign is excellent and provides a great story to experience. The multiplayer is deep and should provide a lot of replayability.

Putting Strategy Back into RTS
9 of 9 found this helpful Finally a strategy game that is actually about strategy. I have come to resent the genre standard of build-orders, resource gathering, and en masse tactics. Medieval 2: Total War is a masterpiece of tactical play. Execute feints, flank charges, diversions, shieldwalls: as it claims, all the tactics a medieval general would have used. It's a relatively simple interface, using mostly the mouse and arrow keys if you are so inclined. Overall a great game, and one I would recommend to any tactically inclined general.

Works well, mostly as described. The item has a lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the facial interface and headband cushions, which was not mentioned in the description. Fortunately, I needed this for the functioning cable and was able to discard the unused parts.
