Volcano-What if in LA?
Fascinating idea for good plot. Very realistic setting using news reporters to describe the scene. What IF a volcano let loose in a large city? Lots of ideas of what could transpire and how people could solve problems along with reactions of various types of people. Using the mysterious tar pits as center of activity lends some scientific credibility to the story. Tommy Lee Jones as the overwhelmed city officer is superb. Anne Hetch is the very likable geologist having to live down being a female scientist.

They become “birds on a wire” trying to survive.
One of the best Goldie Hawn movies. She and Mel make a smashing pair both hilarious! Good plot. Good villons. Colorful characters.

Probably going to be one of my favorites
Very original story. Never boring . Lots of fun characters. Good monster pretty chilling. Seemed like everyday people, believable. Action just keeps going. Well produced.
