Very good first release for this Aussie band
This album provides a somewhat fresh sound with at least four really good tunes. My copy included a DVD of those four tunes and all for a "steal" of a price. If you like Artic Monkeys you will probably like this although not quite as strong as the AM's Favorite Worst Nightmare.
The strength of the first 4 or 5 tunes is really good and only tapers off slightly for the remainder of the album. Listen to some of there music and it leave you wanting more. Excellent mix of keyboards and traditional rock sounds.
I bought it after hearing it once on a cheap stereo in a friends truck. Melodies are excellent and so is the mixing for this CD. Apparently, this is a composition of music from a few releases they had in Australia.

A pleasant surprise
I bought the CD based on merits of one cut (As the day breaks) I heard on internet radio. While that is still my favorite cut on the CD, the whole CD turned out to be quite good. What I really like about it is that it is not mainstream which is why most folks have probably never heard of Carmen Rizzo. And until this CD, I had never owned any.
But pretty much all the cuts are good to very good on this disc. As to the genre, it is definitely not Rap, Rock, Dance, or Trip Hop. If you like Hooverphonic or Portishead, you may like this.

May have gotten a lemon!
3 of 4 found this helpful After using this product for to listen to TV for several weeks, I experience consistent problems with the reception and volume control.
Reception comes and goes "at will" requiring constant "tuning" to continue to listen to programing. This is annoying and distracting.
Volume control is "flakey". It starts at the last volume I had it on, which is way too loud. Then after a minute or so, the volume decrease on it's own making the sound barely audible. So I have to readjust the volume higher in order to hear the programming.
Also, the "tightness" of the headphones wears on my ears so that I am limited to about an hour of use.
Given these product "features", I regret this purchase and can not recommend this item.
