Great project guitar with a few flaws.
2 of 2 found this helpful Overall I am very satisfied with this guitar body. It has a solid mahogany neck and body, no splices. I liked that there was no Gibson logo on the head stock. There a are couple flaws in the finish... one pin point size white spot on the front, a small dull spot on the neck heel, and a wavy finish on a small part of the head stock. Two of the three I can fix, and I'm not sure what to do about the white spot.
The neck is very nicely done, and the fret ends are dressed so there is no rough fret edges.
The nut was cut to high, but I was able to cut it to the correct depth. A portion of one fret had to be filed and re-crowned and sanded. The pickup cut-outs were a little small, and I had to counter sink the holes for the switch and jack because the body was to think at those points. overall, nothing that couldn't be handled.
There is no cavity cover, which was my biggest problem. I had to make my own cover
It was a great project guitar. It's a great product if you can deal with the flaws. If you are expecting perfect, this is not what you need.

Lifting Fluid
I'm glad I tried it but it doesn't really work very well. It does lift stamps off of pages, but the gum is disturbed when you do. Every stamp I tried I ended up soaking in water because the gum was disturbed anyway and they always dried with a curl.
