A "must have" for the collectors!
I'm an adult man that hasn't grown up when it comes to my collection of "all things little cars". That being said, I had to purchase this particular Hot Wheels creation of the 810 Cord as I was fortunate enough to have met Gordon Buehrig back in the early 80's when I was in my early 20's. We were both at a Concurs De Elegance on the grounds of the old Dodge mansion outside of Detroit, Michigan. I patiently waited until after the media stopped swarming around him and then walked up and politely asked for his autograph on my event pass. I also was lucky to have been given a full color event package for the private unveiling of the Corvette based "Buehrig" that Mr. Buehrig allowed his name to be affixed to back in the mid-80's. Of course, only a few ever produced and ended up in the hands of Mr. Buehrig's business partner. I recently became aware that one of them went up for auction.
