It works great for me
I have this in the dash of my 2011 Silverado, it has worked really well, the magnet didn’t seem that strong, but it has held up to the on and off road driving I have done, hard jolts will cause it to fall, but it takes a good jolt to get it to do that.
The gel that is around the suction cup that allows it to stick to a nonsmooth surface is nice, and works well until the interior temp is very high, (97 outside temp)
