My Dell laptop (17” Inspiron model 5749) no longer recognized the battery and refused to charge it, update BIOS, or replace battery drivers. Working

I put these in the remote key for my truck. The factory batteries lasted 9.5 years. Check back in another 10 years and I will tell you how these worked out. For now they are doing just fine.
