No go with vista
The drivers and bluetooth stack took 30 minutes to install from the CD. After installation, the device did seem to work, as it recognised some devices, but not the bluetooth speaker, the thing I bought it for.

About that seam.....
I was a little disappointed to see that there is a 3.5" seam down the middle where there are no air bubbles.

Underpowered!
This heater is only ~4Watts per shoe, it is simply not enough heat to warm a boot. Also, it has no UL marking on it, only some chinese writing on the safety label.
