A solid performer with outstanding cleaning ability!
I am not a huge fan of bagless vacuum cleaners. I bought this unit used, in need of a deep cleaning and a few new parts. I refurbish "distressed" vacuums and sell them. This Bissell was a challenge to clean up. But in the end, it was so worth the effort. I own the bagged counterpart too. Much to my surprise, I was extremely pleased with the power and suction of the Powertrak Revolution. My past experience with bagless vacuums has been less than impressive. This is the very first bagless that did not leak dust from the canister, lose suction when the dirt cup filled and make a huge mess when emptying the dirt cup. I still prefer a bagged vacuum for all the reasons above. But I would consider purchasing the Bissell Powertrak Revolution for my home. With that said, I have rebuilt and tested over 50 different brands/ models ranging from the so called high end bagless to the budget bagged unit. I have to say this is a great vacuum. It's easy to maneuver, light enough to transport, has many great features and does a tremendous job on my carpet! Mind you, my Powertrak was used. The hung works like a champ! I may keep it. I don't think this unit is made anymore. But if you can get your hands on a good used Powertrak, it's worth every penny. Bissell has always impressed me as a "real world" budget minded company. There products aren't fancy or trendy. But the Bissell vacuums I owned are true performers, built with the consumer in mind.

Decent but not exceptional. A good buy for a tight budget.
Overall, this vacuum works very well and the suction seems to be quite powerful. The dirt canister has an unusual and somewhat gimmicky looking design (two plastic painted silver spears). With that said, the canister's separate chambers work in tandem and seem to collect debris then will separate larger dirt particles from dust and/or pet hair. The canister is very easy to empty but not that easy to rinse and clean. The two "spears" are removable but a pain to get back into place. I'm not a huge fan or Dirt Devil vacuums. In my experience, they tend to have a short working life and easily break. Dirt Devil vacuums tend to go through belts quickly too. The low price point is attractive - with the understanding that you may need to purchase a replacement vacuum in a year or two. This is a decent vacuum. It's not a super high end and the features are O.K. But I've paid more for so called "better brands" that didn't perform as well as this.
This is a great vacuum. Picks up everything and leaves my carpet and hard floors exceptionally clean. I love the lift off feature for cleaning under furniture and in tight spaces. It’s also very effective on pet hair. I have a Siberian Husky that sheds all the time. The Shark Duo clean gets all the hair. The only think I wish this vacuum had is a wider cleaning head. But I like the way it gets into tight spaces. All in all, a great buy!
