Pain reliever that really works
This is the best pain reliever gel that I have ever used, and that's quite a few.

Decent polish but nothing special and rather pricey.
This is a decent chrome and other metals polish but it does not live up to the hype about it. It is not outstanding, it's just a decent polish and there are alternatives for less money.

A good substrate but be ready for the mess!
After using a commercially available, big name substrate that turned my water incredibly hard I decided to go "all natural" and use this fracted clay Flourite which apparently is another form of laterite. It will supposedly last the life of the aquarium. It's one big draw back is the mess it creates initially. No matter how much you rinse this stuff it will badly cloud the water and it's taken several days for my Eheim classic filter to finally get the water clear and this despite taking the fine pads out and rinsing them twice. I guess in the long run it's probably worth the initial mess, but be prepared for it.
