Battery powered digital alarm clock (loud)

The clock is nice, however, I really wanted a loud alarm digital clock that is battery powered. Your description states battery powered, but it is an AC plug-in with a battery backup A major difference!

Great Value

I use these batteries once a month for a cheap am/fm radio for news and talk shows. This way I get good value and I have the batteries for about 3.5 years.
