Isaac Stern The Greatest Violin Concerto (UK IMPORT) CD NEW

Excellent 10 CD collection of Mr. Stern's work.

Isaac Stern is an incredible violinist, and these performances were made using high quality analog recording equipment, which was the state of the art at the time. So the sound quality is very good, and the transferring of these recordings to the CD medium is also very good, allowing us to experience some truly historic performances.

Great way to power a portable 2-way radio.

I needed an external 12 volt battery power supply for a portable amateur radio transceiver. I made up a fused cable with crimp on quick disconnects to connect from these batteries (wired in series for 12 volts) and they were more than adequate for the job. I highly recommend getting two 6 volt gell-cell chargers (one for each brick) to periodically recharge them. But these are now part of my go-kit.

I bought this so I can keep my favorite laptop working if the fan in it ever dies.

I have a Gateway LT-3114u laptop. This is one of the few small form factor laptops (8.5 x 11x1 with the lid closed) that managed to keep full size keys in the overall design. I bought this fan in case the fan in my favorite little red laptop ever dies. I know that there is little likelihood of more small laptops coming with full sized keys, so keeping the laptop that fits my fat fingers working is important to me. With any luck, I won't have to replace the fan in my little red laptop, but if I do, I already have the spare.
