Extended eye relief was not long enough for my scout rifle.
2 of 3 found this helpful I purchased this scope for my Springfield M1A, chambered in 308. It is a scout style rifles and the eye relief for this scope was not long enough. Construction seemed ok, but I think it needed a bit more heft for that caliber.

3 of 3 found this helpful Long eye relief on this scope allows for forward mounting on an M1A Scout Squad 308 caliber rifle. Good magnification and sturdy construction makes this my choice for a forward mounted scope. Haven’t mounted it yet, but I did buy the one piece quick detach P.E.P.R. mount that raises the scope above the front iron sight. I will try to update this after the scope is mounted and zeroed.

As good if not better than OEM furniture that came with my shotgun.
Magpul lives up to the hype. The quality and fitment on my Mossberg 590 A1 SPX is perfect; as you can see from the photos.
