Works Well as a Popular Bluing Product Used by Many
Using this for touch-ups; not doing anything over a whole gun. For this application it works as expected. Follow the directions, finish with steel wool (0000) to blend in the bluing, wipe off with a damp cloth and it will provide a deep black/blue coating. Each coating provides a little more deep coloring with diminishing darkening aspects. I suggest heating the metal with a torch or hair dryer to improve the take of the bluing. I have no idea how it will last as I have not had time to determine this. What I have found is that you might need different bluing products from several manufacturers to get all your work done on different parts of the gun or on different guns as the metals are different. Some bluing products work well and some do not work as well. Sorry to report, but in many ways it can come down to experimentation. Just keep it to the areas that you want to touch up and you should be ok.
